You could be the proud owner of this new Sting Ray Orange County Choppers bicycle by Schwinn. This bicycle was built on June 15th of 2004. This bike is made to emulate the style of motorcycles designed and built on the TV show Orange County Choppers.
The OC Choppers Sting Ray, like old Schwinn Sting Rays, comes with ape hanger handlebars, though these are much higher than the vintage ones – they’re 27″ long from bend-to-bend. The fork is a motorcycle-style fork and the saddle is wide and shaped like a motorcycle’s. The seat is quick release, with a lever on the seat tube. The rims on this are extra wide – 1.5″ front and 4″ rear, and the rear has a V brake operated with a right handlebar lever. Features big metal pedals and a twin kickstand.
These bikes are about style, and this one has loads. Green paint job, chrome yellow-outlined flame decals, rear fender sporting the Schwinn name, a thin chain guard with “Schwinn” and “Orange County Choppers” on it, and the “Sting Ray” name on the top tube and saddle. It also has a “Schwinn Sting Ray” head badge. Special on this bike are the black grips with a silver-scored pattern and red-eyed skull ends.
This bike is in very nice shape. It’s new and was assembled by our professional bicycle mechanics. For shipping, it will be disassembled and need some assembly upon arrival. See photographs for details. Great for a collector of rare bikes or a fan of the TV show.
